With the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) considering a serious one off overhaul for the fifth Test of the Ashes at the Brit Oval, 'former' Australian cricketer, Stuart Law, has made himself available for England.

A half century of ODIs and a Test representation for Australia may have changed Law's mind about playing for Australia but his long stint in the England's county cricket and his residency since 2004 now means that technically he could play for England.
And he wants to do precisely that. Stating that he is barely older than Mark Ramprakash, who is being considered, he believes he is in better form and that picking him or Ramprakash would make little difference to England. He believes since they are not going to call him, he may as well take the initiative.
