Former Indian captain and member of the IPL governing council suggests that Indian cricketers should get back to the drawing board, aka, the National Cricket Academy.

Sunil Gavaskar rubbished claims that the IPL was behind India's disastrous performance in the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 in the Caribbean. He stated then that other teams should have also felt the ill effects since many of their cricketers participated in the Twenty20 extravaganza as well.
Instead Gavaskar suggested that the cricketers who have not performed cannot claim to want a break. They should head to the NCA and work on facing short pitched bowling either while facing fast bowlers at the academy or by way of a bowling machine.
