After captaining the Chennai Super Kings briefly during the IPL 3, Suresh Raina once again takes over the reins of captaincy from Mahendra Singh Dhoni, this time against team India.
With the Indian selectors headed by Krishnamachari Srikkanth deciding to rest several key players including the Indian captain, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Raina gets his chance for being the man in form, albeit in the Twenty20 game.
India will play against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka in the ODI tri series beginning the 28th of May, in Zimbabwe followed by a couple of Twenty20 matches when Piyush Chawla is expected to join the team.
