It would have to be an understatement that the Readers Digest's survey of the top trusted Indians generated a fair amount of interest.

Sachin Tendulkar found himself in the 8th place in the list while Lalit Modi, the IPL Chairman and Commissioner, found himself virtually at the bottom on the 97th place.
Former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam found himself topping the list while Ratan Tata was second on the list.
Amongst other cricket related personalities, Shah Rukh Khan, also a huge Bollywood actor, came in at 53. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was at 42.
Incidentally journalists were ranked 30th in the list of 40 professions. Apparently they could do worse, be plumbers! So says the survey.
