Symonds is worried that as the IPL 4 transforms into ninety-four matches from the present sixty matches in IPL 3, there could be more injuries to the players that could result in them being unable to participate.

Symonds is also concerned that as the tournament stretches itself, the exhaustion factor could creep in, leaving spectators with low quality matches compromised as the result of the "cattle" (as he describes the players) not being looked after which he feels that the IPL Chairman and Commissioner will need to look into.
