Andrew Symonds has expressed disappointment in the manner in which he was bumped off the team. However, his appetite to represent Australia in Test cricket has not been dampened by it or by the proceedings in the Ashes.

Symonds believed that rigid rules imposed on him where he could not even go out on a rare day to enjoy a game of football and beer was totally out of tune with his style of playing the game.

However, Symonds has decided to commit himself to Queensland despite trying his hand with the Broncos and has stated he is available to make a comeback despite being treated harshly in his opinion.

He stated he had put in the hard work for the ICC World Twenty20 in England before he was sent back to Australia. Now he states he does not intend to finish his cricket career for Australia on a sour note, but rather would like to continue contributing to the game.
