Even as the stand in Indian captain suffered a slip of the tongue, there is no doubt there is a lot riding for the Indian cricketers travelling to Zimbabwe for the tri series.

Suresh Raina stated his team had no weaknesses, but even he knows it is an opportunity to be grabbed with both hands. He did not hide the fact that he has wanted to captain the Indian team so he will take it even if it is a low profile tri series in Zimbabwe.
For the Indian cricketers who have the opportunity to hit the mark in the absence of the regulars, this is one of those opportunities that may not amount to much in terms of the opponent or interest. However, it is golden opportunity for them to register a few notable performances if only to keep the selectors interested even as fringe players for upcoming bigger challengers.
By those standards, the team’s only weakness would be underperforming and Indians cricket fans have seen plenty of that in the 2010 ICC World Twenty20, enough to put them off. It is time to win them back.
