Tendulkar Denies Tendulkar Opus is Autobiography, Biography or Blood Stained

In a bid to silence the furore over the book, Sachin Tendulkar himself came out to clarify what the book was all about and what it was not.

The Indian cricketer claimed to have been caught unawares by the controversy surrounding the book based on him, Tendulkar Opus. While it appears that Tendulkar was merely waiting for the conclusion of the first Test at Galle in Sri Lanka, he has not wasted the opportunity to clarify that his blood is nowhere in the book that is expected to fetch huge sums.

Tendulkar claimed that the book did not have his blood mixed with pulp as reported while the publisher, Karl Fowler of Kraken Media, has stated that his words were taken out of context (a more coherent explanation is awaited). Tendulkar also stated that the book was neither a biography nor an autobiography but rather merely a collection of photographs and while a elite sum will be sold at a deranged sum of money, others are expected to cost about Rs,12000 and weigh around 12 kgs (phew!).

But others need not despair. Tendulkar intends to donate some copies to libraries for those in pursuit without the means.
