A newspaper in Britain is claiming that Tillekeratne Dilshan, the Sri Lankan batsman, was under the scanner of the ICC Anti Corruption and Security Unit, a claim that the rest of Sri Lanka vehemently deny.

The newspaper claimed that Kumar Sangakkara, the Sri Lankan captain, himself reported the matter to the Sri Lankan manager during the ICC World Twenty20 2009 in England after Dilshan was reportedly spotted with a bookie at a night club.
Since the breaking of that news report, Sangakkara has vehemently denied reporting any player, stating that the charges against Dilshan were not true while a spokesperson for Sri Lankan Cricket ( SLC ) has denied all reports, claiming it was an attempt to sabotage cricket in the sub continent, particularly with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 in mind.
