Suresh Raina saved the blushes for India with a face saving century. Ravindra Jadeja played his part in the resurrection. But do India have enough on board to stop Sri Lanka from picking up the Idea Cup trophy?

The 106 run partnership for the sixth wicket bailed out India from a potentially embarrassing defeat. Jadeja's thirty-eight runs in that partnership along with Suresh Raina's third ODI century went a long way in taking India from a shambolic sixty runs for three in the eleventh over to 245 all out in 48.2 overs.
With the top order virtually annihilated, and Virender Sehwag sparkling to fizzle, Sri Lanka would have felt on top as Nuwan Kulasekara picked up four wickets while Chanaka Welegedera picked up three. While Sri Lanka would have felt that the Indians' fightback had set them back by more a few runs, the dew factor and the modest total will keep them thinking of getting their hands to the cup.
