Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in a rather difficult position. On the one hand, there is the demanding BCCI and on the other hand, a team that has been woefully hit by injuries as India take on Sri Lanka in the third ODI of the ODI tri series at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.

The Indian captain is feeling the pinch of injuries as his bowlers are in less than perfect condition with Ashish Nehra pulling up alongside Ishant Sharma with injuries. Munaf Patel may have more work than he thought when he arrived in Sri Lanka.
Yuvraj Singh has been hit by dengue fever and is not expected to make the Indian line up any time soon as India look to score their first points in the series after being crushed by New Zealand in the first match by a whopping margin of 200 runs.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will be keen to show they mean business and would still be smarting from the fact that India squared the Test series 1-1. With India having beaten them in the Asia Cup final as well, Sri Lanka will be seeking to restore their own glory, injury hit or not.
