After a verbal spat that marred the first ODI between England and Pakistan, Jonathan Trott said there was nothing to clear the air about.

England cricketer, Jonathan Trott, was seen interacting with Pakistan wicket keeper, Kamran Akmal, that seemed to inflame the latter with Andrew Strauss, the England captain, getting involved after a point before the umpire ended that confrontation/

Trott, however, insists he did not say anything untoward, particularly in reference to the match fixing allegations involving the Pakistan cricketers that have undermined the game. Trott stated that the England team had no need to carry off the field issues onto the field and that he and Akmal shared a few words following which the umpires made a big deal out of it, in his words, "mountain out of a molehill".

He insisted that he did not need to speak with Akmal later either because there was nothing to apologise for.

Hopefully that is the end of that.
