Social networking is proving costly for England cricketer, Dmitri Mascarenhas as the England and Wales Cricket Board ( ECB ) sent a strong message for opening his mouth at the wrong place and against the wrong person.

Mascarenhas went off on Geoff Miller, the England national selector, and was already fined by Hampshire. The ECB have now imposed a two week ban beginning in the 2011 England County cricket season in addition to a 500 pound fine.
