Captain Michael Vaughan is recovering well from the knee injury. He is likely to play the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

However, the right-handed batsman would not be available for the all the five matches against the visitors who leveled the test series 1-1. The first ODI begins at Lord's on 17 June.
England coach Duncan Fletcher explained that Vaughan who played two matces for Yorkshire might not make it for the early part, he (Vaughan) wants to sure he is cent percent fit.
England will very shortly announce the national squad for the ODI series. After the shocking defeat in the last test, England is likely to bring some changes in the team.
