Shane Warne is set to return home breaking his county stint with Hampshire in England. The leg spinner’s personal assistant Helen Nolan confirmed it.



The leading test wicket taker will return to Melbourne next week to check his right shoulder. Surgeon Greg Hoy will assist Warne to regain his fitness. Warne will not take part in the Twenty20 matches.



The leg spinner injured his shoulder during matches between Australia and Bangladesh in April. Although the injury is not so series, Warne does not want to take risk.



Shane Warne, who debuted his test cricket against India way back to 1992 in Sydney has so far claimed 685 wickets from 140 matches.
