Shane Warne was never one to hold himself back. Once again he took on the ICC and labelled having the IPL window a no brainer.

Warne, currently playing coach and captain of the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2 after leading them to victory in the inaugural season of the IPL has lashed out at the ICC for not taking stock of the IPL and its impact.
Warne stated that the ICC should have had the common sense to create an IPL window in the month of April to make sure that all the contracted players belonging to different boards had the opportunity to take part in the Twenty20 tournament.
He stated this after England are due to play a series against the West Indies in the UK while many of the Australians affiliated to the IPL are now forced to play a bilateral ODI series against Pakistan in the UAE.
Warne felt that the ICC and the BCCI could compensate some of the boards for the loss of tournament and allow these players to participate in what is considered the showstopper of cricket's latest avatar, the Twenty20 game.
