Lalit Modi must be wondering where he should laugh or cry at his recent misfortunes. Being stuck with pandemonium in Jaipur in a politicized battle, now Warne threatens to call it quits. Wonder what his franchisee will think about it!

Lalit Modi, the IPL Commissioner, alleged that in his powers, he would have the right to move the IPL matches out of Jaipur if the present political government continues to thrust cases upon him and make it difficult for the IPL to go ahead smoothly.
But Shane Warne, Australia’s legendary leg spinner, has now been quoted as saying that should Modi carry out his threat, Warne would not like the possibility of playing anywhere else, including Ahmedabad, one of the venues considered as an alternative.
Warne cited reasons that Jaipur has one of the world’s best training facilities and that he has stayed back despite the blasts in Jaipur last year because he found resonance in the town. He intends to remain loyal to the land, and will consider quitting the Rajasthan Royals team, leaving Emerging Media and Shilpa Shetty, the franchisee owners, perhaps pulling out their hair as Modi battles a handful on his own.
