The WICB has made the stunning decision to remove Australian John Dyson as coach of the West Indies team for the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa.

Even as the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) seek to reach some sort of an agreement with the West Indies Players Association (WIPA), they have taken the decision to appoint assistant coach, David Williams, as coach replacing the former Sri Lankan coach, Dyson, who stands fired after taking up the role in 2007 following in the heels of Bennett King.
