Following the stand off between the BCCI President, Shashank Manohar, and Lalit Modi, the IPL Chairman and Commissioner, there is reason to believe that many of the top BCCI officials may not attend the first IPL Awards function to be held in Mumbai today.

It is understood that several franchisees may also be working on the BCCI's stand and forbid their players, including star cricketers such as Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, from attending the IPL Awards Night.
