Which Hussey is that again? In an irony of sorts, David Hussey has had his wish fulfilled in that his brother will be travelling to India to join the team. But will David now be able to reconcile that he may be the one who will have to forfeit his possible place in the team for Australia in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

After groaning and complaining about how he felt was unjust that he was left out of Australia's ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 squad, Michael Hussey has finally found a recall, albeit through the injury to Doug Bollinger.
Only last week, his younger brother David who is currently with the Australian squad has been rooting for his brother to be picked in the squad. And it seems his wish has been granted with the senior Hussey joining the team to provide balance in the batting line up to strengthen the bowling resources.
However, it will mean that the middle order's less experienced cricketers, and that would include David Hussey, forgoing the opportunity to play in the tournament as a result of having to make way. With Shane Watson, Ricky Ponting, Michael Clarke and Cameron White providing the weight in the batting, David may be stringing a thin line towards the selection in the playing eleven when Mike comes to India.
For the moment, both the brothers will be only too grateful to find themselves in the squad. And perhaps as a manner of consolation, if one were to replace the other, perhaps they will have the honour and comfort in knowing that it was a brother and not any other team mate. That's certainly one way of looking at it.
