Following their victory in the ICC World Twenty20, Pakistan captain Younis Khan has promised the people in the Swat region that their needs will be looked into by the team which will visit the region following their tour to Sri Lanka.
The Pakistan cricketers are expected to make millions as part of the reward scheme in the country following their unprecedented success. Shahid Afridi stole the show but Younis promises that the cricketers have not forgotten what they have wanted to do for the country, buoyed by the team’s victory. They are expected to part with some amount of their earnings by way of rewards for rehabilitation of the region troubled by Taliban occupation.
