While Mohammad Yousuf insists he wants the job of Pakistan's captain till the 2011 ICC World Cup, he is pointing fingers at former Pakistan captain, Shoaib Mallik, for the disruptions in the dressing room.
Stating that the previous Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Naseem Ashraf, made a mistake in giving the reins of captains to Mallik, Yousuf stated that the Mallik captaincy had set a precedent for lack of respect for seniors and an culture of indiscipline.
Yousuf has dragged the Akmal brothers through the muck, stating that Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal were disruptive influences on the tour. When Kamran was dropped for the final Test, Umar faked a back injury apparently but did not manage to convince the team management.
