Mohammad Yousuf has shot back at critics that Pakistan cannot be expected to win in Australia with the kind of squad he has and once again slammed the selectors over Younis Khan's omission in the Test series. Salman Butt may have softened the Pakistan captain's anger towards him with a century but not by much.

Yousuf was critical once again of the selectors' decision to hold back Younis Khan on the grounds of lack of form. He questioned how the selectors even considered keeping Younis Khan out despite his averaging fifty with the bat.
Yousuf also requested Pakistan fans to keep their expectations reasonable given that the team is rather young, experienced and played Australia in Australia was not easy. He was appreciative of the fact that the team did get close to winning in Sydney in the second Test but added that it was always going to be difficult with the present line up.
Yousuf was also scathing of Salman Butt, branding him "selfish" for his involvement in the two run outs in Pakistan's first innings in the third Test at Hobart. Butt was involved in the run outs of Yousuf himself and Umar Akmal who has been in good form on this tour.
The Pakistan captain may be new to the job but he is not mincing words. Wonder what the Pakistan selectors are thinking now!
