Responding to the growing image of a party happy, lackadaisical player, Yuvraj Singh hit back by stating that the image created has been done to tarnish him, and not an accurate one.

Speaking through a media outlet, Yuvraj Singh chose to respond to the constant allegations he has had to live with that he likes to live life king size, dancing, partying and mingling with the fairer sex irrespective of his performance on the field.
Yuvraj Singh played down the image when he was in the spotlight playing for the Kings XI Punjab in the IPL 3 and has once again claimed that the image of him being portrayed was far from the truth.
Here are Yuvraj Singh's words: "The perception people have about me is created by the media. I am shown as brash and rude, but I am a simply guy. I try to speak with everyone nicely and do not disrespect my elders. I've been brought up by my parents with the right values. The media gave me the tag of playboy, which I am not."
The media is not entirely convinced they have created the monster. So, the debate continues.
