Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami operational chief and Al Qaeda commander Ilyas Kashmiri has issued a direct warning of perpetrating terror against foreign sportsmen visiting India for the Commonwealth Games, the Hockey World Cup and the IPL 3.
Following the air of suspended reactions in the aftermath of the Pune blast on the 13th of February, this direct threat from the Al Qaeda commander and HuJI Chief seemed timed to create further panic.
The warning has been directed specifically at the IPL 3 in India next month, the Hockey World Cup which gets underway at the end of February and the CWG scheduled for October later this year in New Delhi.
The militant outfit seems to be preying upon the nation feeling tense and on the alert following the bomb going off in the German Bakery in Pune and the Maoist attacks in West Bengal.
