After a few low scored themselves, the Rajasthan Royals returned strongly and in doing so, knocked out the Kochi Tuskers Kerala who had been riding high as the IPL 4 has come along.
Shane Warne, the Rajasthan Royals captain, and Siddharth Trivedi played havoc with the Kochi Tuskers Kerala line up at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur to register a strong win in the IPL 4.
Kochi’s best came from Parthiv Patel’s thirty-two and that was by far the odd innings in a line up that simply failed to get anything of note going. From two for twenty-eight, the KTK team were knocked down to seven down for ninety-two and eventually all out for 109 as the two Rajasthan Royals bowlers, a spinner and a fast bowler, decimated the Kochi Tuskers Kerala’s run with three wickets each.
Thereafter the Rajasthan Royals batted to show how it is done, Shane Watson and Rahul Dravid once again doing a splendid job at the top of the innings. Forty-nine runs for Watson and forty-four runs for Dravid later, the Rajasthan Royals were cruising to victory, this one by two wickets to boost themselves ta a critical time.
