Multiple Captain Theory Brewing in RCB Den

Ray Jennings, the Royal Challengers Bangalore coach, has hinted that Jacques Kallis may not be taking over the role of captain as RCB play their last match with Kevin Pietersen at the helm.
Jennings is apparently concerned over Kallis’ fatigue after the back to back series against Australia and also, about his current performance. Earlier it was announced that Kallis would take over the captaincy once KP performed his duties for the six matches that he would be available for before returning home for England’s home series against the West Indies. But now it appears the coach is having second thoughts.

RCB have lost four of the five matches they have played and apart from beating the Rajasthan Royals in their first match rather comprehensively, they have slipped back to the doldrums and in search of new light and inspiration.

Vijay Mallya had stated that Rahul Dravid was relieved of the captaincy in view of the fact that his wife was pregnant and due to give birth any time. But now that Dravid’s wife Vijeta welcomed the second son into the family, Dravid is expected to return from India back to South Africa for the rest of the IPL 2 season.
Jennings hinted as much that he had Dravid in mind as well as Mark Boucher and Anil Kumble amongst other plausible candidates for the captaincy post. So, it could be someone filling the captain’s shoes till Dravid returns as well. Could we see three captains in the RCB camp?
