The Pakistan Cricket Board have taken up Mohammad Yousuf’s offer for his services should the team require them.
Given the drubbing in the first Test of the England Pakistan Test series, the PCB issued a statement that stated that Yousuf was slated to join the team while Danesh Kaneria was being released towards his county duty, obviously signalling they did not think he was upto the mark, “Danish Kaneria is released from the national team and is now available to play for his county Essex. His services will be available for the national squad if required. Mohammad Yousuf and ( left arm bowler ) Raza Hasan are added to the national squad with immediate effect.”
