Team India’s defeat to New Zealand in the warm up match on Sunday has sent a few reality ‘bytes’ back home. But Rahul Dravid states, it is nothing to be concerned about.
The Indian cricket team lost their only warm up match to a team they had vanquished in Sri Lanka in the Compaq Cup. Their 103 run defeat brought the team aiming for the top spot down to earth. But the rumblings are being felt about how team India will fare in the ICC Champions Trophy.
However, the team’s senior wall, Dravid, has stated that the preparations for the warm up at Potchefstroom were not in keeping with the actual tournament given that the pitch conditions were completely different from the ones that the Indians would be facing in Johannesburg.
There will be no jokes from hereon. India will have to take no chances because the so called weaker teams are not.
