Kevin Pietersen is going back home, back into history. Well, while that may be exaggerated, what is not is that he is going home to South Africa to hone his skills to play for England. Deja vu?
After proving that he is still in reasonable good nick with a century for Surrey, the England county cricket team with home he has signed up on loan, KP is going to South Africa to play for the Kwa Zulu Natal Dolphins in two four day matches as a warm up and in the run up to the Ashes down under.
Pietersen recently ran into hot water when he tweeted his disappointment about England leaving him out of the England ODI squad for the series against Pakistan. Now he has acquired the permission of both, the England and Wales Cricket Board ( ECB ) and Cricket South Africa ( CSA ), and received the blessings of the England coach, Andy Flower, who appreciated KP’s efforts to keep himself consistent in representing England at his best.
