Shane Warne Contemplates Another IPL Move to South Africa; Shilpa Shetty Assures

Shane Warne is certainly concerned over the Al Qaeda threat on the IPL 3 and he is not ruling out having an IPL 3 in South Africa again, like with IPL 2.
The Australian leg spinning legend, who is the Rajasthan Royals captain and head coach, was weary about the IPL 3 after the HuJI operative, Ilyas Kashmiri, issued a threat to all teams in the IPL 3, Commonwealth Games and the 2010 Hockey World Cup.
Warne says that unlike an Olympic event when all players are sheltered in one village, the cricketers are a vulnerable lot what with all the travelling, moving from place to place and hotel to hotel. He even cited the case of the Sri Lankan cricketers’ bus coming under attack in Lahore in March, 2008 and coming on the back of the blast in Pune last weekend.
Shilpa Shetty, coowner of the Rajasthan Royals team, however, denied any concerns, “We are extremely confident that the IPL is going to make sure that the security is of utmost importance to our players and be rest assured that we won’t let the things go ahead without that.
