Ahead of another mouth watering contest, Graeme Smith is on the caution list for an injury suffered during the net sessions in Kolkata.
The South African captain has injured the little finger of his little hand with the MRI revealing a ligament injury.
While there is an anxious wait for Smith to recover, the Cricket South Africa remains hopeful, “The medical team is confident that the swelling will subside in the next 24 hours and Graeme will put his finger to the test at Saturday’s practice at Eden Gardens, after which a decision will be taken on his fitness to play in the second Test.”
