Vinod Kambli was locked up the Bigg Boss house for the Bigg Boss 3 season and could not personally wish his childhood friend, Sachin Tendulkar. But Bigg Boss gave him the chance finally.
Bigg Boss gifted Kambli a card encasing the deeds of their feat together as schoolkids in the Harris Shield and gave the contestants the opportunity to mock a typical team meeting before a big match where they were expected to boost each other’s morale.
While Bhaktiyar Irani took on the role of Yuvraj Singh, Poonam Dhillon wasted little time in tying her hair up and pretending to be Harbhajan Singh. There was even Virender Sehwag in the form of Pravesh Rana. (Wonder why no one wanted to be Sachin Tendulkar? Perhaps he was too big an icon to even pretend to be.)
Later Kambli took the opportunity to wish Sachin via the in house camera, congratulating him for completing twenty years in international cricket and promised to greet him with twenty vada pavs upon coming out. He also issued an unconditional apology for any hurt he may have caused, perhaps alluding to the Sach ka Saamna episode to escape the public wrath.
Kambli awaits his own future in Bigg Boss as he has been nominated with five others for this Friday’s eviction.
