South Africa’s young left arm fast bowler is absolutely thrilled about his great week in international cricket.
Parnell was one of the top draws at the IPL 3 auction alongside West Indies’ Kieron Pollard and Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi. And he is delighted to be playing for the Delhi Daredevils although he did not have a particular preference in terms of the franchisees.
Parnell, who made his Test debut in only the fourth Test on England’s tour of South Africa, cannot believe his good fortunes, being sold for $610,000, much higher than his base price of $100,000.
Calling this his most memorable week, Parnell will be joining his South African team mate, AB de Villiers, who has been a part of the DD over the last two seasons.
