The newly appointed Pakistan captain wants the former captain back on the team. But the latter is adamant that he has had enough.
Shahid Afridi wants Mohammad Yousuf back in the team, especially as Pakistan travel to England. However, Yousuf is too upset with the manner in which he has been treated by the Pakistan Cricket Board and is not willing to entertain any thoughts of playing the international sport, saying he is “not ready”.
Yousuf was not sure about the distant future, but for the immediate, he says he does not want to make a return, despite Afridi’s coaxing. He is particularly upset over the indefinite ban imposed upon him, saying he had served Pakistan cricket with pride and he did not expect to be treated the way he has.
